NANCY BRATANOW, M.D.
Dr. Bratanow treats patients with a caring multidisciplinary approach. She diagnoses and treats patients with acute and chronic pain from a wide range of conditions, with over 30 years of experience. She has a special interest in hypermobility spectrum disorders such as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and neuropathies including autonomic neuropathy, dysautonomia, POTS, and small fiber neuropathies.
She was in academic medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin and was the Director of the Pain Management Center and Pain Fellowship. She has been involved in teaching and research on the pharmacogenomics of pain management. She has been active nationally including as an officer with the American Board of Pain Medicine, and the American Academy of Pain Medicine

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked in the intensive care unit and the emergency department, dealing with chronic pain.
I always wonder how patients manage their pain after being discharged or how they get the appropriate care for them. That is why I am here, providing the best-individualized care I can for each patient. Not only is it essential to address the medical management in the plan of care, but it is also imperative to incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy into the regimen to help with the overall chronic pain.
